Kingsbridge In Bloom - July 2008
This year for the first time Kingsbridge is entering the RHS In Bloom Competition and very soon you will see floral displays all round the town.
This is not a Kingsbridge Town Council initiative and the competition is not just about flowers!
It is about taking pride in your town, keeping it neat and tidy, and about conserving resources, recycling and re-using.
The Kingsbridge entry is being judged in July, when the judges will travel around the town, both on foot and bay car, passing your home.
The organisers want everyone in the town to support the Kingsbridge entry, by making their frontage as attractive as possible.
There will be awards for the Best Front Garden, Best Basket, Best Tub and Best water-saving Container.

You can also help the team of volunteers by:
- Joining with others to help improve communal spaces
- Removing any litter you see
- Using recycling facilities
If you would be prepared to coordinate a small part of your street, please let the organisers know.
For more information and to offer to help, contact Grenville or Angela Taylor on 01548 854407 or email kib@gandat.co.uk.

Kingsbridge Show 2008 takes place on Saturday 6th September 2008, 54 years of which have been at Borough Farm, one mile north of Kingsbridge on the A381.
Kingsbridge Show continues to grow whilst trying to maintain that local feel, keeping it's traditional agricultural and horticultural roots.
